The Technical University of Berlin's privately financed
Real estate management further training course is supported by agenda4
e.V., a joint venture by a number of property industry enterprises and
has been available only since October, 2002.
The course covers the topics of location planning, project development
and property management up to aspects of Facility Management.
Three practically orientated term projects in the form of feasibility
studies and a concluding master's thesis are drafted by interdisciplinary
teams (bank employees, lawyers, civil engineers, urban planners and architects)
in the four terms of the master's course.
These teams use site and market analyses to draft long term utilisation
concepts for disused sites and for alternative utilizations of properties;
the concepts are then examined for their economic and legal feasibility.
Activities then conclude with the elaboration of financing and marketing
concepts for these projects.
