Roof reconstruction Pergamonmuseum
|
The general refurbishing project
for the roofs of the Pergamon Museum included the complex planning necessary
for basic repair and renovation of the roof skin, the attic rooms and
the enclosing structural elements interfacing with the exhibition areas
below; these activities had to assimilate conclusions drawn both from
the competition for the new museum project and from the ultimate arrangement
of the Pergamon Museum. Not only constructional necessities, but also
partial accessibility to the building for visitors, had to be ensured
in planning of the various construction phases. |
